Dating After Divorce Rebound Relationship
Nothing can be more painful than a divorce for anyone, be it a man or a woman. One wonders what went wrong and a rebound relation on top of it! Not done. It is a dire situation one has to come out of and one may wonder if dating the only way out? |
Not exactly but it cannot be a bad idea altogether, especially if the affected person is totally prepared for not carrying their miserable thoughts or wants a date just as an outlet of their feeling. No one who comes on a date would want to spend time listening to the opposite person whining.
A rebound relation is something that happens immediately after a divorce. So, it could be possible that emotional stability could be lacking. No relation could be healthy with such a beginning. It is preferably better to avoid going on a date after a divorce until one is sure and confident of maintaining a healthy relation and thereby avoid facing any dire consequences once again. Even if one chooses to go out on a date, one needs to be very open about their feelings and hesitations if any to the other person, so that there are no immediate expectations.
Time has always proved to heal any wound. So instead of hurrying into another relation, it is better to take out some time. Venting out the frustrations on the opposite person is not going to help build a healthy relationship. A counseling or self realization with some healthy communications, one can build their future on healthy grounds rather than heading for another heartbreak in the pretext of rebound relationship.
