What Sections Of the Constitution Involve Gay Marriage?
This question is open for interpretation. Constitution is very broad, and it can be interpreted in many ways. The Constitution guarantee the pursuit of happiness, and it say that all men are created equal. Therefore, traditional marriage is no doubt a basic American’s right. However, it does not explicitly talk about gay marriage.
Today the society are a lot more understanding about gay and gay marriage. Mutually consenting sex with the person of your choice in the privacy of your own home is a basic American’s right which is guaranteed by the constitution. It is legal now to have homosexual acts in any state in the United States. Unfortunately, this is not true in many other countries. Gay marriage also don’t get the same sanction everywhere in America. Some states like San Francisco do recognize gay marriage and civil union, but there are many other states that do not.
